Abstract

“Modern society is referenced to as “information society” since it is characterized by cutting-edge technologies able to process data and exchange information rapidly at any time across the world. This work addresses and deepens the topic of copyright protection in the modern information society. This topic is significant since it has emerged as the core of the institutional political debate, considering the recent approval of the EU directive n. 2016/280, which will attempt to update the regulatory systems of the EU Member States to the advanced technological scenario.”
